Council fluff their lines in Broadford

Residents in Broadford, Skye, were mystified this week when Highland Council created a new one-way system in the village – then removed it just a few hours later.

Road markings to indicate ‘no entry’ off the A87 opposite the post office were painted overnight on Tuesday. However, following Free Press inquiries, the lines and the directional arrows were burned off on Wednesday afternoon by a council road crew (pictured).
