The answer? They are among thirteen languages newly added to Google Translate.
Google Translate can now understand a total of 103 languages and the newly updated system will be rolled out over the next couple of days to the web and mobile apps. Google believe that the 103 languages available cover 99 per cent of the online population.
The new languages added are: Amharic, Corsican, Frisian, Kyrgyz, Hawaiian, Kurdish (Kurmanji), Luxembourgish, Samoan, Scottish Gaelic, Shona, Sindhi, Pashto and Xhosa.
