The Skye Live 2016 music festival is to be held at King George V Park in Portree, it has been announced.
The unique two-day music festival will take place ahead of the May Day bank holiday, next April.
Organisers announced details of the venue today (Friday).
Over twenty music acts will perform on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th April and news about the line-up and ticketing announcements will soon be released.
Across the two-day event dance and electronica will be interspersed with contemporary and traditional Scottish performers.
Last year’s event was hugely popular and oversubscribed, so in 2016 the capacity will almost double to three thousand.
