A new Police “drop-in” event will take place at Minginish Hall, near Carbost, next Thursday (4th June).
The new scheme is a move by local officers to “bring the police” to more remote communities, giving the public the chance to air concerns or flag up any issues they have.
The first drop-in session will coincide with a senior citizens tea at Minginish Hall.
Sergeant Bruce Crawford said he would use the event to issue some crime prevention advice on home security, scam awareness and doorstep crime.
Discussions are underway to hold similar events in Sleat and Torridon.
