Police appeal after copper cable stolen in Lochalsh

Police are appealing to the public for information following the theft of copper cable from a work site in Lochalsh last weekend.

A substantial quantity of copper cable – valued at around £800 to £1,000 – was stolen from a work site at the Nostie Power Station between Friday 24th April and Monday 27th April.

Anyone with information relating to this theft, or who saw anything suspicious between the above times, are asked to contact the Police on 101 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
