New special constables on the beat

Last Friday saw the enrolment of five new police special constables within the Highland and Islands Division, including one from Kyle.

The new special constables were sworn in as part of an oath ceremony conducted by Justice of the Peace Pamela Marrs.

They include John MacKerlich from Kyle, who will serve on Skye. He was joined by Callum Hogg, who will be based in Nairn; Paul Dzialdowski, Dingwall; and Emma MacGillivray and Ross Naismith, both of whom will operate in Inverness.
