Kintail’s Glash and Torin join the Search and Rescue Dog Association

Two members of Kintail Mountain Rescue Team have become newly-qualified members of the Search and Rescue Dog Association Scotland.

Paul Meikle of Dornie and Alasdair Earnshaw of Avernish have been training for several months with their dogs A’ Ghlas Beinn (Glash) and Torin, and achieved their novice search dog grades at a SARDA training weekend in Lochgoilhead earlier this month.

Just two days later Paul and Glash put their training to the test when they helped to safely locate a lost hill walker in Glenshiel.
