A 94-year-old Skye woman will realise a lifelong ambition next month when a selection of her artwork is exhibited in Portnalong.
The exhibition by Stella Cherry of Eynort will feature a wide range of subjects and styles, including paintings inspired by her many visits to Cuba and Spain. In recent years her eyesight has failed, leading to an adaptation in style, and these works will also be on display.
Taking place in Minginish Community Hall from Tuesday 5th to Saturday 9th August, the exhibition will also feature a smaller display by other local artists and the Made in Minginish crafts group. The exhibition will be open from 11am to 5pm daily, and to 8pm on Friday 8th.
