Defibrillator for Kinlochshiel

Kinlochshiel Shinty Club have become the most recent beneficiaries of a joint partnership between the Camanachd Association and the Lucky2bhere charity.

The club became the fourth premier league side to take delivery of a defibrillator heart-start machine through the scheme. Ultimately, the two organisations hope to supply every shinty club in Scotland with the life-saving apparatus along with the necessary training that is required.

Russell Jones, a Camanachd Association development officer and Hearstart trainer, is pictured handing over the machine to representatives of the club at a recent tournament in Portree, as Dr Wilson Banks and Ross Cowie from Lucky2bhere look on.
