A permanent tribute to Joy Robson, who was killed while attending the Snowman Rally in February this year, has been created at MacDiarmid Primary School on Skye.
Mrs Robson (50) worked as a nursery assistant at the school for several years and is “unbelievably missed”, her co-worker Anne Gillies said this week.
The mother of four was killed while watching the rally at Glenurquhart Forest near Balnain in February and it was decided to erect a permanent memorial to her.
Children and staff at the nursery were asked to pick something that reminded them of Mrs Robson and these were then used to create a mosaic, which is now on display in the nursery. The mosaic was created by nursery pupils and parent Shiela Goodwin.
