Magnificent seven for Sir E Scott Choir

The Sir E Scott School senior choir made it a magnificent seven in Tuesday’s choral competitions.
The Harris youngsters’ haul of seven trophies was made up of various prizes for Gaelic, music and aggregate marks across the 13-18-year-old choral category.

For the record, heading across the Minch to Harris will be the Heather K Moore Trophy, the Mrs Campbell Blair Trophy, The Rev Archie M Beaton Trophy, the Oban Times Shield, the Janet Kelly Brown Memorial Trophy, the Angus M Ross trophy and the Mrs Hobbs of Inverlochy Cup.

Sir E Scott and the Nicolson Institute were the only two senior school choirs taking part in Paisley, and the Lewis choir made sure they didn’t go home empty handed by winning the Belle Campbell Trophy for Puirt-a-beul.
