Image of man found on Skye beach released

Police Scotland are conducting local inquiries in an attempt to confirm the identity of a man whose body was found on the shoreline at Kyleakin on Skye last week.
It is understood that the guest list of a south Skye hotel is being studied and that a room key from the same hotel was found on the Skye Bridge, close to where the man’s body was discovered by a dog-walker just after 9am on Monday 9th September.
The man, who was found with no identification, is described as being between 35 and 45 years-old, 5’8”to 5’10” in height, of medium build, with short dark hair. He had tattoos on his left forearm consisting of a cross and the initial “G” close to his wrist. He was found wearing a blue Everlast hooded top, a blue body warmer, dark coloured jeans, a Levi’s leather belt, chrome Sekonda watch, “Help for Heroes” wrist band, black Nike trainers and on his back was a Reebok black and red backpack.
Anyone who knows of a man matching his description should contact police on 101.
